New Sales Channel for Pumps: VSX Presents the New impeller.net at the Pump Users International Forum

VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE is presenting the new impeller.net Internet portal for the first time at the 4th International Rotating Equipment Conference to be held 24 – 25 September 2019. The next generation of the portal is going online end of 2019, offering visitors a unique variety of interesting contents and new functions. In the course of the redesign, special attention is paid to the integrated PumpSelector. The new, open sales platform will integrate the offers of manufacturers and sellers and connect them directly with prospective customers and buyers. In addition to the new sales channel, suppliers will benefit from a range of individual advertising options.

The impeller.net Internet portal is one of the world’s leading sources of information for the pump industry and has been established on the market since 2001 with a German and an English page. In addition to editorial content, which provides information on current news and trends in industry and science, the PumpSelector offers visitors the opportunity to select and configure the right centrifugal pump for individual applications. An encyclopedia rounds off the professional profile of the information portal.

“Our new site provides comprehensive information and a convenient, cross-manufacturer purchasing platform for pumps, which leads the user from the application through a competent product choice up to a specific supplier,” explains Jens-Uwe Vogel, Managing Director of VSX – Vogel Software GmbH.” Users can select one or more pumps and compare them with each other. Subsequently, they can either buy the selected pump via a web shop (e.g. eBay, Amazon, special pump web shops, manufacturer web shops) or send an inquiry directly to the manufacturer”. From a technical point of view, the focus is on the platform concept. Thanks to the integration of manufacturer specifications via program interfaces, existing data can be used directly with no need for additional data maintenance. Sellers only have to provide their sales information, such as price or availability, without having to maintain the product data themselves. The main advantage for the user is the always up-to-date information that is retrieved live from manufacturers and shops, as well as the innovative pump selection and configuration software offered by VSX, a leading provider of such software.

VSX also comes with the latest versions of the pump selection software Spaix 5 and the mobile application Spaix 5 Mobile. The well-established sales software is used by manufacturers and customers all over the world and is consistently being further developed, which is why it offers new features for the sizing and configuration of centrifugal pumps every year. “The extensive functionality, which allows the representation of almost any design or construction variant, reflects our more than 25 years of experience in the implementation of such programs,” says Jens-Uwe Vogel. “Thanks to the integrated pricing, quoting and project-management functions, the software is designed as a central element for the entire sales process”.

Visitors can find out more at booth #55 of the trade fair accompanying the International Rotating Equipment Conference and have the software solutions and the new Internet portal explained to them in person. This year’s VDMA conference will take place at the RheinMain CongressCenter in the heart of Wiesbaden, Germany.
